Stephen Perry

Dr Stephen Perry has been a practicing landscape architect since 2005. He received his PhD in landscape architecture in 2012 from Queensland University of Technology, examining the potential of fractal geometry – the underlying geometry of nature – to inform an ecological design aesthetic. As well as a practicing landscape architect, Stephen is also an Adjunct Research Fellow at Central Queensland University. His post-doctoral research investigates the use of computer generated algorithmic tools to enable the embedding of the pseudo-random patterns of natural systems into the underlying structural geometry of landscape and urban design forms. Stephen is Principal landscape architect in Stephen Perry Landscape Design, located on the Fraser Coast.
